David is the Founder and General Partner of Inception Capital, where he leads the firm’s early-stage funds, Inception Ventures and Inception Fund of Funds. Since 2016, David has invested in industry unicorns such as Circle, Ondo, and Arbitrum during his time at Huobi, in addition to MegaETH, Skyfire, and Opacity at Inception. He has also backed top-performing funds including Alliance, Topology, and Metalayer through the Inception FOF. Named a Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia honoree, David is dedicated to bridging the East and West and capturing emerging market growth opportunities by investing in, and empowering U.S. and APAC-based founders and fund managers to drive further innovation in regions underserved by global venture capital and tech ecosystems. David dropped out of Stanford University and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
